To be admitted in Wisconsin, an applicant must have been admitted to practice law in another state or territory or the District of Columbia and must have been primarily engaged in the practice of law for three years within the previous five years. Illinois also has reciprocity arrangements with over 30 states, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
