Michael Best’s Adam Witkov Named to Notable Leaders in Law List

In an acknowledgement of his professional achievements and community excellence, Michael Best is proud to announce that Adam Witkov has been named to BizTimes’s Notable Leaders in the Law list. The competitive accolade honors professionals throughout Southeastern Wisconsin who serve at a senior level in the firm, hold a leadership position in the industry outside of the firm, and have made significant contribution to advancing workplace equality at their own workplace or beyond and act as a mentor.

A premiere litigator and business attorney, Witkov resolves clients’ most pressing needs inside and outside of the courtroom. He regularly represents businesses, financial institutions, healthcare clients, and high-net worth individuals on a wide-array of legal matters. Witkov has successfully litigated, mediated, arbitrated, and settled matters concerning breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with business expectancy, breach of employment agreement, shareholder disputes, the Lanham Act, false advertising, fraud, misrepresentation, and real estate and land use. His legal acumen has been reinforced by this notable recognition as well as his inclusion on Best Lawyers in America in Commercial Litigation, and The Midwest’s Best Lawyers in Commercial Litigation.

In addition to his professional career, Witkov dedicates significant time to various community and philanthropic endeavors. He is extensively involved in Milwaukee’s nonprofit community, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of Jewish Family Services of Milwaukee, the Former Board President of Operation DREAM, Inc., as a Trustee of the Jewish Community Foundation of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, and as a volunteer for the Milwaukee Justice Center.

Witkov earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, also serving as Moot Court Board, VP-Heffernan, Competitor and Coach. He received his B.A., highest honors, in Government from University of Texas at Austin.
