Michael Best is proud to announce that firm partner Dan Gawronski has been named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s prestigious 2025 “40 Under 40” list in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements and community involvement. The highly competitive accolade recognizes emerging leaders in Southeastern Wisconsin who are making significant contributions to their professions and communities. 

Gawronski is a key player in Michael Best’s Venture Best practice, where he assists clients with a broad range of corporate law services. His expertise includes early-stage planning and formation, venture capital and angel fundraising, commercial licensing and contracting, and mergers and acquisitions. Gawronski’s dedication to understanding his client’s unique business objectives enables him to provide strategic legal guidance that aligns with their overall business goals. His work has previously earned him recognition as a BizTimes Media Rising Star in Law, Best Lawyers® “Ones to Watch,” and included in The Midwest’s Best Lawyers© ranking. 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gawronski is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. He dedicates his time and skills to various organizations, including serving on the board of Imagine MKE, Inc., and as a leader of Michael Best’s annual United Way Campaign, reflecting his commitment to giving back and fostering community development. Additionally, Gawronski acts as a go-to referral source and advisor to members of Milwaukee’s startup community.

Gawronski holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he distinguished himself as a leader and graduated cum laude.
