Abigail J. Griffin*

Abigail assists with the preparation and prosecution of both U.S. and international patent applications covering a variety of technologies in the electrical and computer arts. She has particular experience with:

• Artificial intelligence applied to object detection and recognition for public safety systems, including neural networking and distributed neural networking
• Wireless communications systems and devices, including LTE and LMR technologies
• Wireless charging systems and devices
• Lighting and lighting control systems
• Water heater control systems
• Vehicle electronics and vehicle control systems and software, including regenerative braking systems
• Lighting and lighting control systems
• Wireless charging and power transfer systems
• 3D computed tomography, surface scanning, and other medical imaging systems and software
• Semiconductors and electronic components, including supercapacitors

Prior to joining Michael Best, Abigail interned at Eaton’s Cooper Power Systems, where she worked extensively with transformers and regulators, and developed a new system to verify regulator oil levels.
