Overview

Brad is an associate at Michael Best, specializing in complex issues related to employee benefits, retirement plans and ERISA matters, and health and welfare plans.

Prior to joining Michael Best, Brad gained valuable experience at a multinational law firm where he advised private equity firms on employee benefit and ERISA issues in M&A transactions. His responsibilities included providing legal markups to purchase and credit agreements, leading management calls for the benefits team, and drafting various documents such as disclosure schedules and due diligence request lists.

During his time as a summer law clerk at an Illinois-based law firm, Brad honed his legal skills by drafting pleadings, preparing small state affidavits, and assisting with trust and decanting notices.

Prior to law school, Brad worked as a high school teacher in the suburbs of Chicago and completed 1,000 hours of clinical work in Chicago Public Schools.
