Jordan is an associate at Michael Best in the firm's Venture Best Group, where he focuses on venture capital and emerging growth transactions. Jordan supports emerging technology companies and start-up founders in the full range of their industry-specific corporate needs and through their early-stage investment rounds and cap table changes. He also represents early-stage investment funds, accelerators, angel investors and all those in between.
Jordan is adept at closing private market investment transactions of all kinds, including stock purchases, convertible debt financings, SAFE’s, option and warrant issuances, merger transaction, and asset purchases. Jordan further assists clients with corporate governance matters such as entity formation and conversion, Carta and cap table management, and securities and regulatory compliance.
His commercial contracts experience includes structuring joint ventures and drafting joint venture agreements, and drafting and negotiating agreements for revenue share, distribution, consulting, and technology licensing and services.
Prior to joining Michael Best, Jordan worked both in-house at venture capital funds and publicly traded corporations, as well as in private practice at a global law firm.
