As the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Matthew leads Michael Best’s Accounting and Finance function, supporting the success of the firm’s clients, partners, employees, and other stakeholders. Matthew leverages his extensive financial management experience to advance the firm’s strategic priorities and optimize operational efficiencies while providing sound financial stewardship.
Matthew brings 15 years of experience as a financial executive to his role. Prior to joining Michael Best, Matthew held leadership roles with top investment banking and professional services firms, including his most recent position as Senior Director of Financial Operations for the Healthcare business of Huron Consulting Group. He previously served as Midwest Finance Director for Willis Towers Watson. In these roles, Matthew consistently spearheaded finance and accounting operations while successfully implementing multiple large initiatives to drive strategic vision.
