Brian draws on his background as an electrical engineer to advise clients on the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications, freedom to operate searches/opinions, management of intellectual property portfolios, as well as other related intellectual property issues. Focusing his practice on electrical, computer, and software technologies, clients value his experience in obtaining patent protection and his counsel on patent clearance and infringement matters.

Brad counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions, federal and state securities law compliance, forming and financing startup businesses and matters relating to the sale of cryptocurrencies and digital tokens. He has extensive experience in private placements and other private securities transactions, Rule 506 offerings, and corporate governance matters.

As a Patent Engineer, William assists with patent preparation and prosecution related to electrical and computer technologies. Before joining the firm in his current role, William completed Michael Best’s EDGE engineering internship program.

Leigh has represented private and public sector employers in labor and employment matters for more than 25 years. Her litigation experience includes successfully advocating for clients in state and federal courts and administrative agencies across the country in harassment, discrimination, disability, and leave-related disputes, grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practices charges, and various administrative agency matters. She has extensive experience investigating and handling matters filed with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and other federal and state agencies.

Steve serves as a trusted advisor and lead litigation counsel to many top national and international companies. His clients include technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, communications, financial services, real estate, manufacturing, and state and federally regulated companies, as well as developers, property owners, and others. 

Bob has participated in hundreds of transactions during the course of more than 30 years’ experience in his practice, advising closely held and family-owned U.S. and European (German, Swiss, Polish) clients involved in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital financings, and other significate business events.
