With nearly 20 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, political strategy, public affairs, and event management, Tory is a seasoned leader and strategist. She brings cross-sector experience to her role as the head of the Federal Government Relations practice at Michael Best Strategies, having worked in politics, government, and the private sector.
Sendek served as a Managing Director for the bi-partisan, Board of Advisors in Washington, DC since 2018. In the role, she oversaw the Board of Advisors and led business development and client initiatives, as well as political engagements. She is a strategic and innovative planner, collaborating across industries and teams to achieve strategic growth and deliver wins on behalf of clients and the firm.
Before joining Michael Best, Tory was at the White House, serving as Special Assistant to the President and Director of White House Events and Presidential Scheduling under the first Trump administration. In this role, Tory was responsible for strategic planning and implementation for the Executive Office of the President, managing communications and working closely with key departments and agencies across the Administration, the United States Secret Service, and the White House Military Office.
Additionally, Tory spent 10 years at the Republican National Committee (RNC) leading national stakeholder engagement and led large-scale, multi-faceted national and international events. Tory collaborated with elected local and state political leaders, campaigns, fundraising efforts, and the media across the country. As a senior leader at the RNC, Tory successfully led external strategic initiatives and engagements to drive the organization’s political and institutional objectives.
