Michael Best is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Witkov to the Firm’s Equity Partnership. Witkov has been with the firm since 2007 when he joined Michael Best as a Summer Associate.
“Adam is known for being a trusted advocate to his clients, tirelessly working around-the-clock to help resolve their most pressing business needs,” said David Krutz, Firm Managing Partner. “This promotion speaks to his continued dedication to not only his clients, but also to the firm, and we congratulate Adam on this monumental milestone in his career.”
As a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group, Witkov is one of the firm’s leading litigators and business attorneys. Clients rely on him for strategic advice on a wide array of business and litigation matters. Witkov regularly advises closely-held businesses, represents financial institutions, and litigates a wide-array of business disputes in Wisconsin and throughout the country.
Outside of Witkov’s robust practice, he contributes an extraordinary amount of time giving back to organizations throughout the Milwaukee area. He currently serves as the President of Jewish Family Services Milwaukee, a Trustee for the Jewish Community Foundation, and a Board Member and immediate Past-President of Operation DREAM.
He has been recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America© and The Midwest’s Best Lawyers©. Additionally, Witkov was named as an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal, an honor awarded to only 30 lawyers who have been practicing for less than eight years. In 2015, he was the recipient of Michael Best’s Litigation Practice Group Outstanding Community Service Award.
Witkov earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
