Michael Best & Friedrich LLP has hired a former McGuireWoods LLP counsel, who will continue advising clients on corporate governance issues, as well as regulatory and transactional matters in the firm's Raleigh, North Carolina, office, according to a recent news release.
Bruce "Andy" Andrews joins Michael Best as a senior counsel, according to his LinkedIn profile, and will work with clients in the health care and nonprofit sectors, according to a June 6 news release.
A University of North Carolina School of Law graduate, Andrews also has a master's degree in accounting, and pursued that degree after studying economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
