Michael Best is pleased to share the addition of Kristofor (Kris) Hanson to the firm’s Labor & Employment practice. Hanson joins the firm as a Partner and is based in the Milwaukee office.
Hanson brings to Michael Best a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in representing employers in labor management relations, including collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and litigation in both state and federal courts. He also has extensive experience representing employers before administrative agencies like the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and multiple state equal rights agencies.

Hanson’s career spans over 15 years, with experience in both private and public practice. Most recently, Hanson was a Shareholder at a boutique Labor & Employment firm. He has also served as a Board Member and past chair for Curative Care, and now serves as a member of its Foundation Board. Hanson also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, teaching Employment Law in the University's Masters of Human Resources and Labor Relations program. In addition, he regularly conducts collective bargaining training for the University’s School of Continuing Education.

Hanson earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
