Overview

Andrew’s practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation. He assists both public and private companies with a wide range of employee benefits matters, including plan design and administration, legal compliance, fiduciary duties, and employee benefits litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked as an associate at a large global law firm. In this role, he demonstrated expertise in advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in connection with corporate transactions. His responsibilities included conducting due diligence on compensation and benefits issues, analyzing relevant tax implications, and counseling clients on incentive, equity, retirement, and health and welfare plans and programs.

Andrew has extensive knowledge stemming from multiple roles within the legal industry. He worked as an extern for employee benefits and executive compensation at a prominent law firm in Washington, D.C., where he focused on writing research memoranda on tax issues regarding employee benefit plans. Additionally, Andrew gained skills in reviewing corporate documents and drafting formation documents for Texas corporations and LLCs as a law clerk at a mid-sized law firm in Houston.

His early career included internships and summer associate positions at both large and mid-sized law firms, where he honed his skills in litigation, corporate law, and tax preparation.
