Anthony is a Patent Scientist with Michael Best. His background encompasses the areas of biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, pharmacology, and cancer drug development. He brings more than eight years of biomedical research experience to his role assisting clients with patent preparation and prosecution for life sciences inventions.
Anthony earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His dissertation research focused on pre-clinical development of a novel therapeutic for treatment of breast and non-small cell lung cancer. While pursuing his Ph.D., Anthony worked as a business consultant helping clients in the biotech, healthtech, and pharmaceutical industries with matters such as innovation patent strategies and market analysis.
During his graduate studies, Anthony also served as a Technology Transfer intern at the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, where he gained valuable experience with invention disclosures and the patenting and licensing processes for life sciences technologies. Anthony later completed Michael Best’s EDGE internship program before joining the firm in his present role.
