Brady focuses his practice on tax matters. He assists with tax compliance, tax planning, and tax controversy issues. He also counsels businesses on new tax legislation.
Before joining Michael Best, Brady worked as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate for a full-service AmLaw 200 firm, where he drafted briefs for clients, secured favorable summary judgment grants, and negotiated settlements. While in law school, Brady worked as a judicial intern in the Chambers of Justice Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he researched and drafted bench memos for the supervising justice to prepare oral arguments, gaining an insider's perspective on the state's highest court's legal analysis and rulings. Brady also worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of General Council, where he drafted motions for summary judgment, assisted in discovery, and researched administrative statutes and precedents.
