Christian is a member of Michael Best’s Venture Best practice group, returning to the firm after completing the firm’s Summer Associate program and receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Christian’s practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters for start-up, early-stage, and established companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Christian gained invaluable experience as an in-house law clerk for a multinational infrastructure and engineering firm, where he handled various contracts including general contractor, subcontractor, nondisclosure, purchase, and commercial lease agreements to mitigate the company’s contractual risk. His work included identifying key business and legal terms for the company’s M&A department in M&A purchase agreements. Christian also had the unique opportunity to work as a Parliamentary Intern in the British House of Commons, acquiring first-hand experience with British policy and legal work.
During his time in law school, Christian served as a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review before joining the executive board of the North Carolina Journal of International Law.
