Overview

Dallas is an Associate in Michael Best’s Corporate practice, assisting clients with a variety of business and transactional matters.

While pursuing his law degree, Dallas was a student associate at the Marquette Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic in Milwaukee. In this role, he provided legal counsel to start-ups and small businesses on a variety of transactional matters, including contract drafting, corporate governance, employment law, and federal trademark law. Dallas also worked as a legal intern at the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce Litigation Center in Madison, where he drafted legal memoranda, motions, and briefs for appellate matters impacting the state’s business community.  He gained additional experience as a Summer Associate with Michael Best.

Dallas also has volunteer experience with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, Nonprofit and Small Business Clinic, and the Legal Action of Wisconsin, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Petition Clinic. Additionally, Dallas served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Marquette Law Review.

Before joining Michael Best, Dallas worked for Wisconsin State Representative John Macco and U.S. Senator John Thune, where he gained experience in legislative research, tax policy analysis, and constituent and media communications, and drafted motions for the biennial state budget.
