Evan works closely with entrepreneurs and their companies on business matters such as formation, funding, governance, contracts, and more. He started his Michael Best career as a summer associate, returned as a law clerk, and finally joined the firm as an associate attorney after receiving his law degree from the William & Mary Law School.
While pursuing his J.D., Evan gained legal experience as an intern with a boutique business law firm where he researched and assisted with a variety of transactional matters. Previously, Evan worked at an early-stage start-up, gaining insight into the start-up ecosystem and perspective on the unique challenges entrepreneurs must face. He joined Flex Membership Share as the marketplace tech start-up’s fourth employee. There, Evan designed and implemented sales strategies and initiatives that dramatically increased the company’s partner business pool in a short time. Evan also interned with Napeague Capital, a family office focused on institutional grade trading, long/short equities, and crypto assets. In that role Evan performed due diligence and research related to pending IPOs and secondary offerings.
