Overview

Julia’s practice focuses on legal matters related to all aspects of complex litigation, including civil disputes and litigation avoidance strategies.

Before joining Michael Best, Julia gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of Legal Affairs, where she analyzed ongoing litigation and advised on policy adjustments, and as a Clinic Clerk for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, where she refined her legal research skills. She also served as a Research Assistant with the State Democracy Research Initiative, where her work involved reviewing state supreme court cases and analyzing amicus briefs, giving her insight into the broader legal and political landscape. Additionally, Julia completed Michael Best’s Summer Associate program.
