Kathryn is a Patent Engineer who assists clients in drafting, preparing, and prosecuting patent applications with a focus on electrical innovations. She leverages her engineering and math experience to help Michael Best attorneys secure strong patent protection for clients’ intellectual property.
While pursuing her degree, Kathryn served as the Lead Facilitator of the Calculus II Scholarship Enrichment Program. She also worked as a Student Assistant in Research and Development for the Southwest Research Institute, where she created a knowledge base providing information on components of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Her notable research experience at the Cullen College of Engineering includes ultrasound laser beam testing and nano-generator development, where she designed and tested a nano-generator capable of operating underwater and under extreme pressure.
