Kyle is a Patent Engineer who assists with the drafting, preparation, and prosecution of patent applications directed to mechanical innovations. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Finance, and Economics.
While attending university, Kyle gained valuable experience working with water filtration systems. He contracted with a company to create an autonomous water filtration system within a shipping container. Kyle also spent time working as a pipe fitter apprentice for a plumbing company. He cleaned, tested, and installed injection molding machines and assisted with all aspects of installing pipes and pipe supports.
On the business side, Kyle was the chair of a team actively managing $2 million dollars within the Michigan Tech Fund. Kyle also worked alongside an economist and a U.S. Congressman to create an economic analysis and forecast of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Kyle also participated in Michael Best’s EDGE patent engineering internship program before joining the firm full-time.
