Lauryn assists both public and private businesses with matters related to the employer-employee relationships.
Before joining Michael Best, Lauryn gained a plethora of experience. Most recently, she was a Summer Associate with the firm. Earlier, she served as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Children and Families, in the Office of the General Counsel. She assisted attorneys in trial preparations, researched complex legal topics, and briefed senior staff on high-priority cases. In addition, Lauryn was the chief of staff for Illinois State Representative Ann M. Williams of the 11th Legislative District. In this role she managed day-to-day operations, directed office operations, corresponded with local officials, agencies, and key stakeholders, and organized the legislative agenda.
Prior to earning her undergraduate degree, Lauryn worked as a finance associate, casework intern, research intern, and grassroots organizing fellow.
