Madison is an Associate in Michael Best’s litigation practice, assisting clients in a broad range of complex litigation matters.
Before joining Michael Best, Madison served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable District Judge David Morales of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. In this role, she gained experience observing proceedings and preparing judicial orders relating to a wide range of legal issues including commercial litigation disputes, product liability, constitutional claims, breach of contract, and labor and employment matters.
During law school Madison gained valuable experience from her externships with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Office of Chief Counsel and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, where she was involved in conducting research, trial preparation, and drafting various legal documents at the appellate and trial court levels.
Previously, Madison was a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Judge Scott Walker of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. In this position, she analyzed, researched, and drafted legal memoranda and judicial opinions, as well as observed and prepared for oral arguments.
