Miranda provides entrepreneurial and startup clients with support through all phases of the business lifecycle. Her unique background, which includes roles in both private practice and public defense, enables her to think outside the box and devise creative solutions for complex problems.
While serving as Deputy Public Defender in Saunders County, Nebraska, Miranda provided representation and advocacy for clients in both criminal and juvenile court. During that time, she participated in the development of the District 5 Problem Solving Court and served as a member of the treatment team. She also participated in the University of Nebraska College of Law’s immigration clinic assisting low-income clients with a variety of legal needs, and is a 2021 graduate of the National Criminal Defense College.
Miranda also gained experience as a clerk for ACLU Nebraska, Civic Nebraska, Sierra Club, and with a Nebraska law firm.
