Nathan is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation practice who assists clients with all aspects of dispute resolution up to and including courtroom litigation. As a former prosecutor in the Denver City Attorney’s Office, Nathan managed a heavy docket with hundreds of active cases, handling them through all stages of litigation from arraignment to trial. He is experienced with drafting and reviewing dispositive and non-dispositive motions, evidentiary hearings, and first and second chair trial experience.
Before working as an Assistant City Attorney, Nathan was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Melissa Hart of the Colorado Supreme Court. He spearheaded administrative functions in chambers, drafted memos and opinions, and coordinated revisions and finalizations with Justice Hart to prepare those opinions for publication. While pursuing his J.D., Nathan gained other valuable experience as a Congressional Intern for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (Colorado), as a Legal Intern for the U.S. Army JAG Corps, as a Legal Extern in the Office of the Colorado Attorney General, and as a Legal Intern in Corporate Transactions at CoBank.
Previously, Nathan served in the United States Navy. After being deployed to the Persian Gulf and receiving multiple service medals and other honors, Nathan was honorably discharged and began pursuing his career in law.
