Nathan represents clients in a variety of corporate, transactional, and general business issues. He also advises corporations and non-profit organizations on a variety of regulatory, political law, lobbying, and ethics issues.
Before joining Michael Best, Nathan was Associate Counsel for the Republican National Committee, where he advised the organization’s leadership, as well as state parties, on a broad array of legal matters including serving as counsel to the RNC’s Site Selection Committee which was responsible for selecting and negotiating contracts in connection with the 2020 Republican National Committee. He also served as Associate Counsel for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee, where he worked with the National Park Service and District of Columbia’s Department of Transportation to plan and permit public events for the inauguration.
Earlier in his career, Nathan served as a law clerk for then-Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s presidential campaign committee and later served as a legal extern in the Walker administration’s Office of Legal Counsel. Nathan also worked as a law clerk for Assurant Health and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kitty K. Brennan of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals’ First District. Prior to becoming an attorney, Nathan worked for a major U.S. pharmaceutical company.
