Nate has significant experience representing clients in employee benefit matters for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for private and public companies. Nate is skilled in advising on health and welfare-related administration and compliance issues that arise under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and the Affordable Care Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Nate was an associate at a multinational law firm where he represented clients across the globe in their benefits matters.

  • Represented a private equity firm and portfolio company that specializes in natural gas transmission and storage on a $423 million sale to a public company.
  • Represented a private equity and growth capital firm with its $60 million investment in a leading healthcare jobs marketplace.
  • Represented a private equity and growth capital firm in its acquisition of an omnichannel marketing and accounting solutions company.
  • Represented a private equity firm on a financial partnership with a leader in cloud communications services and hybrid work solutions.
  • Represented an investment firm and private equity firm in the sale of a portfolio company that focuses on complex generic and specialty pharmaceutical products to a privately held pharmaceutical company.
