A diligent advocate and trusted counselor, Becky has a diverse and robust litigation practice, specializing in complex matters where she represents clients across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Michael Best, Becky practiced with a civil defense firm in Raleigh where she represented and advised corporate clients and individuals from pre-suit investigations through the end of litigation. Becky makes it a priority to collaborate with her clients to mitigate risk before, during, and after litigation and serves as a resource for problem solving in real time. She is dedicated to understanding her clients’ short- and long-term goals and is experienced defending businesses and individuals inside and outside of the courtroom. Becky has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as at the appellate level before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
